By using this website, you give your consent that all personal data that you submit to us may be processed by us in the manner and for the purposes described below and to the Terms and Conditions for sagercpa.com.
If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use the site.
Sager & Associates CPAs (the “Firm” or “us” or “we”) recognizes that your privacy is important. This Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Firm’s website (the “Site”), as well as any services provided through the Site. This Policy also covers how personal and other information that we receive or collect about you from the Site is treated.
The Firm generally collects only information that is provided to us voluntarily by users of the Site so that we may provide users information about the Firm.
Types of Information We Collect
We collect two types of information about users of the Site: Aggregate Information and, in some cases, Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”).
Aggregate Information: This information does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon where you visit on our Site and what other sites may have directed you to us. This information, which is collected in a variety of different ways, is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include the website’s Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) that points to the site you just came from, which URL you go to after visiting our Site, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address.
Personally Identifiable Information: This information lets us know some specifics about who you are. When you engage in certain activities on this Site, such as subscribing to certain content publications or sending us questions, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself. Examples of PII may include your first and last name, telephone numbers, email address, mailing address (including zip code), your industry or service, and other identifying information. Please do not send us any sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, health information, or criminal background on or through our Site.
How We Collect and Use Information
We, or our third-party marketing partners, may collect certain Aggregate Information from this Site. For example, our third-party marketing partners may provide us with aggregate, but not individual, reports with information about the results of our digital marketing efforts. In addition, we may use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers and software, to administer our Site and to gather demographic information about users of our Site.
We do not collect any PII about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. You may be required to provide certain PII to us when you elect to use certain services available on the Site. These may include: (a) subscribing to our newsletters or publications; (b) registration for an in-person seminar or online webinar; (c) requesting information about matters such as professional services, career opportunities, or our Site; (d) sending us an email message; or (e) submitting a form or transmitting other information by telephone or letter.
We will primarily use your PII to provide service offerings to you. We will also use certain forms of PII to enhance the operation of our Site, improve our internal marketing and promotional efforts, analyze Site use, improve our service offerings, and customize our Site’s content, layout, and services. We may use PII to deliver information to you and to contact you regarding administrative notices. Finally, we may use your PII to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreements with you, including this Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Depending on how you use our Site, we may store cookies on your computer.
A cookie is a small data text file which is stored on your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. Cookies may also include more personalized information, such as your IP address, browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server, and your first name to welcome you back to our Site.
Storing cookies enables us to collect aggregate data about our users and to customize certain aspects of your specific user experience. We may use cookies to perform tasks such as: monitoring aggregate site usage metrics, storing and remembering your passwords (if you allow us to do so), storing account and marketing preferences that you have set, and personalizing the services we make available to you. However, we do not use cookies to track your browsing behaviors. View our cookie declaration page by clicking here.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
Release of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent any Aggregate Information or your PII to others.
Occasionally we may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide PII to the appropriate governmental authorities. In such cases, we will disclose PII only upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.
Updating and Correcting Information
You have the ability to access and edit the PII that you have provided to us. You may correct your personal information and privacy preferences by managing your preferences in our Site, or by contacting privacy@eidebailly.com or 844.974.0998. Please include your contact information (such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number) when you contact us. In your request, please also identify what personal information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your personal information removed from our database, or what other limitations on our use of PII you are requesting.
However, some information, such as past transactions, may not be deleted. In addition, it may be impossible to completely delete your information without some residual information because of backups created through our disaster recovery plans. In any case, we will record and save your request for modification or deletion.
User Choices on Collection and Use of Information
We may, from time to time, send you email regarding new products and services that we feel may interest you. In addition, unless you have opted out from such communications, we may occasionally call or send you direct mail about products and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not want to receive information from the Firm, you can “opt-out” from email communications by clicking “unsubscribe” from our emails, managing your preferences in our Site, or by contacting info@sager.cpa or (208) 939-6029.
You also have choices with respect to cookies, as described above. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies.

Our Site and the services we offer are intended for consumers sophisticated in tax and business matters. Therefore, it is unlikely that children under the age of 17 will use the Site or purchase the services we offer. Regardless, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children that we know to be under the age of 17. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from a child under the age of 17.
If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you, your parent, or your legal guardian may request that we delete any of your PII in our database and/or opt-out from receiving communications from us. If you wish to do so, please contact us at info@sager.cpa or (208) 939-6029.
